01 — The brief
The challenge
Hiking in remote areas poses navigation and safety risks. Trilhos (TrailBlazer) was designed as a mobile-first companion for outdoor enthusiasts, focusing on accessible layout contrast under direct sunlight, offline map downloads, and clear SOS rescue triggers.
02 — The approach
My approach
I designed high-contrast layouts using clear outdoor green and earth-tone palettes. The interface is optimized for thumb-reach navigation while on the move. I mapped out user flows for custom offline route planning and an interactive elevation-profile overlay.
03 — The result
Outcome
Created an extensive, interactive Figma mobile design prototype. The layout was validated by test groups for superior readability and ease of use in simulated high-glare environments.
