01 — The brief

The challenge

Retrospecter is a streamlined, cost-effective SaaS tool built to make agile retrospective meetings highly focused and actionable. Stripping away the bloat of traditional meeting software, it provides essential features such as secure team rooms, anonymous brainstorming, live voting, and action-item tracking. It equips organizations with exactly what they need to improve team accountability and continuous improvement. In the Contra project note, I described my contribution as designing a visually engaging landing page in Figma, collaborating on dashboard elements, and supporting task management and progress tracking in ClickUp across project phases.

02 — The approach

My approach

I led the end-to-end design and development. I created a clean, modern UI featuring a persistent meeting workflow: step 1 (Brainstorming cards), step 2 (Voting on key cards), and step 3 (Discussion & Action Items). Using SvelteKit and WebSockets, we ensured instant real-time synchronization across meeting members. Designed with a custom Svelte design system to keep load times lightning-fast.

03 — The result

Outcome

Successfully launched the product live at retrospecter.app. The platform facilitates retro meetings with 20+ features, zero hidden fees, and highly responsive dashboards, receiving praise from teams looking for a clean, direct alternative to Mural and Miro. The Figma and ClickUp workflow also helped keep design execution and task coordination streamlined across the project.
